During the holiday season, a lot of mischief begins to happen with people going out of town, many gifts being bought, and families letting their guard down. One of the biggest days during this season that is full of chaos is Black Friday. Many people love going Black Friday shopping for not only the good deals, but for the experience. Sometimes the experience is not a good one though. Here are some tips that will help make sure your shopping trip is enjoyable and safe!
- Use a credit card instead of large amounts of cash
- Wear a crossbody style bag, and never take it off. This helps avoid being pickpocketed.
- Carry keys and credit cards separate from each other. This way the cards do not fall out while you are pulling out your keys.
- Store your purchases in the trunk, or out of sight. This prevents break-ins!
- Already have your keys in hand when you are leaving the stores
- Shop in pairs and make sure not to overload your arms while shopping
- Always double check you locked your doors and your windows are up!
